Hydronic Air Handlers

What is an air handler? At a quick glance a residential air handler looks like a furnace. The air handling unit is a device used to regulate and circulate air as part of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. The AHU takes in outside air, reconditions (filtered and either heated or cooled) it and supplies it as fresh air to the air conditioned room via the ductwork, providing your family the right amount of clean, comfortable air year round.
Air handlers make a big contribution to the overall efficiency of your system. That’s because the more efficient your air handler is, the less work your outdoor unit has to do to make your home comfortable.
